TEDxALCHE is an independently organised TEDx event, held under license from TED, taking place on 5 October 2026 at the Caudan Arts Centre in Port Louis, Mauritius. It marks the first TEDx experience hosted by the African Leadership College of Higher Education (ALCHE), organised entirely by a student team under the guidance of the Student Life department.
Bringing together eight speakers and an audience of 100, TEDxALCHE is a platform for local voices, big ideas, and honest conversations about the future, for Mauritius, for Africa, and beyond.
We’re living through a moment of profound change in technology, in leadership, and in how we understand ourselves and each other. “What’s Next?” isn’t a passive question. It’s an active call to shape the future we want, rather than simply react to the one that unfolds around us.
How do leaders build institutions, cultures, and systems that outlast individual moments, moving from short-term wins to long-term impact?
How can young people thrive in an increasingly digital world while protecting their wellbeing, sense of purpose, and human connection?
